CARRIER AIR WING ONE WING NIGHT RESULTS FOR 17 AUGUST 2001:
Formal ops began by killing and taking VOH from the AZ. Then we launched a hord of B-25s from Lexinton and killed POT and JUN. We captured both of them. V64 made a daring kill on a pj while dead sticking his F-4 thus likely saving the goons that were otw to Pot. We then moved west and began by hitting MIR. We killed and assisted gooning it. We then sunk FRA, YOR, and HOR and Gooned them. Bais when back and resank KAG which had not been gooned and gooned it all by himself and in the nick of time. We then Killed TIK, BOX and BEN and captured them. Following this we hit KAD and killed and Captured it. We then killed Sel and Ind. We captured sel and likely Captured Indy as I logged at that time.
