The following Medals listed on this page and the next are those awarded to Carrier Air Wing One personnel and members of other assisting squadron.

The Medal of Honor
The Medal of honor is awarded to any member of CVW-1 obtaining a campaign ranking of number 1. |

The Navy Cross
The Navy Cross is awarded to any CVW-1 member obtaining a ranking in the top 25 at the end of a campaign.

Distinguished Service Medal
The Distinguished Service Medal is awarded to any CVW-1 member displaying Distinguished service to CVW-1. |

Silver Star
The Silver Star is awarded to any CVW-1 member obtaining a ranking in the top 50 at the end of a campaign. |
|
Legion of Merit
The Legion of Merit is awarded to any CVW-1 member that obtains a ranking in the top 100 in both bombing and in fighers at the endof a campaign.

The Bronze Star
The Bronze Star is awarded to any CVW-1 member obtaining a top 100 ranking at the end of a campaign. |

Distinguished Flying Cross
The Distinguished Flying Cross is awarded to any CZ pilot flying with or assisting CVW-1. Displaying unselfish disreguard to the odds in battle and contributing to the success of a mission showing valor and outstanding airmanship. |
