TALES FROM THE AIR AND BEYOND
Stop in and relax in our officers club from time to time. Read stories about real "There I was" stories from our missions and maybe a story or tow that came from who knows where.

HAVE A BUD MAN!
The stories and drinks are free. The stories will be easy to find. The beer, well that is another story. Seems the fighter jocks missions are shorter than ours, so the beer is gone before we get back. Hummmmm where is that resupply goon.
THAT GUNNED BUFF CAME TO MY RESCUE
THERE I WAS FLYING MY GUNNED 17 FROM MIR TO INDY. GR HAD JUST DROPPED 8 EGGS ON INDY WHICH WERE LEFT OVER FROM CLOSING DOWN OMB. I WAS SECTOR AND A HALF OUT AT 13K WHEN I SAW THE BZ 51 CLOSING. HE KEPT HIS DISTANCE AT ABOUT 3300 YRDS BACK. RADIOING TO GR PRAYING THAT HE WAS NEAR AS HE HAD KRSCO AND TEEG GUNNING HIM. HE WAS A FULL SECTOR OUT AND ON THE DECK. I DOVE MY 17 TOWARDS THE DECK AND THE 51 CAME IN ON ME. HE RIDDLED ME WITH BULLETS AND THEN OVER SHOT ME AND HAD TO GO AROUND. LOW AND BEHOLD I SPOT GR AT 2 O'CLOCK LOW AND ON THE DECK. I TURN TO HIM AND HAULING BUTT. THE 51 INS ON ME AGAIN AND I LOSE NUMBER 1 AND 2 JUST AS I FLY THOUGH HEAD ON TO GR. BOOM I HEAR. KRSCO AND TEEG GOT HIM ON THE FIRST PASS. WITH NO DOUBT I WOULD HAVE DIED ON THE NEXT PING. I CONTINUED TO INDY AND SANK IT AND NURSED MY 17 BACK TO MIR AND LANDED ON NUMBER 3 AND 4 SAFELY. HH
